Sphettus

(Σφηττός), a son of Troezen. who, with his brother Anaphlystus, emigrated from Troezene to Attica, where two demi were named after him. (Paus. 2.30.8; Steph. Byz. s. v.) [L.S]

(Σφηττός). A deme of Attica near the silver-mines of Sunium. It belonged to the tribe Acamantis.
