Or. 14 noch den aor, καταπροίξασθαι gebildet zu haben scheint, = umsonst, unbelohnt, unbestraft tun ; ἐμεῦ δʼ ἐκεῖνος οὐ καταπροΐξεται, er soll mich nicht ungestraft gehöhnt haben, Archil. frg. 23, wie Ar. οὔ τοι μὰ τὸν Δία τὸν μέγαν ἐμοῦ καταπροίξει, auf das voranstehende καταγελᾶν gehend, Nub. 1239, was Schol. erkl. δωρεὰν ἐπεγχανῇ μοι ; dgl. Vesp. 1366, 1396 ; nach B.A. 275 οἷον προἶκα καταφρονήσεις, ἀζήμιος ἔσῃ.
