II. The fruit: perh. *morum Idaeum (cf. Plin. 15, 24, 27, "mora nascuntur et in rubis;" Ov. M. 1, 105, "in duris haerentia mora rubetis;" though these mora are prob. blackberries). Raspberry-vinegar: *acetum e moris Idaeis paratum s. confectum.
