  • run to or towards, come to one, πρὸς τοὺς νεκρούς Pl. R. 440a; τινι Ar. Ach. 1084, Av. 759, X. An. 4.3.10, etc.: abs., run up, Id. HG 3.1.18, Cyr. 7.1.15, D. l.c., etc.
      • 2 in hostile sense, make a sally, πρός τι X. Cyr. 5.4.47.
      • 3 of things, happen to one, τινι D.S. 13.37 codd.; προστρέχει πολλαχοῦ τὸ "γίγνεται" occurs frequently, Dam. Pr. 401.
